45 years of Vietnamese-Americans in America: Celebrating Our Heritage.

Discover Vietnamese history, music, and culture through the arts. Meet Châu Thụy, a calligrapher and author of Bloodstained Sea who came to the United States as a war refugee and boat people from Việt Nam in 1981. The story is a remarkable feat documenting the atrocities survived by the Vietnamese people during the Boat People Crisis of 1978-1995 for the price of freedom.  There will be a special appearance of Simon Hòa-Phan, the film producer of Mother Tongue, Father Land and community leaders. Enjoy photos and arts exhibits, cultural performances, and a gathering of local organizations and authors. Followed by a reception.
